The general budget revenue in Beijing exceeded 600 billion yuan in 2023, showing an 8.2% annual growth. The urban unemployment rate surveyed stood at 4.4% in the previous year.
In 2023, the consumer price index in Beijing remained primarily stable. The income growth of Beijing residents paralleled the economic growth in the past year, while various indicators such as per capita share of the city's total GDP and overall labor productivity remained among the highest across provincial-level regions in the country, according to Xinhua News Agency.
