Indonesia’s inflation rate rises to 2.65% in September, above forecast

Indonesia’s annual inflation rate increased to 2.65% in September, according to official data released Wednesday.

The figure exceeded the 2.5% forecast predicted by economists.

The September inflation reading marks an acceleration from August’s rate of 2.31%.

Despite the increase, the inflation rate remains within the central bank’s target range of 1.5% to 3.5% for 2025 and 2026.
