Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.71%

 Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Transport and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.71%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 8.33% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.26 at the close. East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321) added 2.03% or 3.00 points to end at 150.60 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (TADAWUL:2150) was up 1.67% or 0.90 points to 54.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310), which lost 5.99% or 0.74 points to trade at 11.62 in late trade. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) declined 5.44% or 0.86 points to end at 14.94 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) shed 5.34% or 2.60 points to 46.10.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 283 to 27 and 2 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.72% or 1.90 to $71.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.42% or 1.78 to hit $75.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 19.30 to trade at $2,671.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.05% to 4.15, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 101.19.
