Financial services firm Monex Europe has bolstered its FX options capabilities with the hire of two senior traders. Michael Huggett has joined as Senior Options Trader and Chris Weeks as Head of Options Sales.
Michael Huggett brings over 30 years of experience in financial markets. He was previously Director of UK Corporate Sales at HSBC Global Markets, responsible for the bank's FX derivative solutions.
Chris Weeks has over a decade's industry experience managing sophisticated hedging strategies for clients. He joins from FX risk management provider Convera, where he was Head of Hedging.
In their new roles, Michael and Chris will seek to enhance and expand Monex's suite of FX and interest rate hedging solutions for clients.
Chris Weeks said he is "thrilled" to join at a time of growth and looks forward to developing a "sophisticated full-service hedging solution" that strengthens Monex's reputation.
Monex Europe is part of the wider Monex group. The London-based firm specializes in corporate FX services focused on managing FX exposure and international payments for businesses and institutions.
