National Bank of Egypt announced a strategic partnership agreement with Mastercard to collaborate to attract new segments of customers from outside the banking sector to integrate them into the formal economy.
The partnership between Mastercard and National Bank of Egypt (NBE) will focus on providing an expanded package of digital payments solutions in Egypt, this cooperation strengthens the partnership between the two sides aimed at promoting innovation and achieving financial inclusion in Egypt.
The Convention was signed by Demetrius Dausis, President of Mastercard's Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, Hisham Akasha, President of the National Bank of Egypt, in the presence of Khaled Al-Jabali Regional President of Mastercard in the Middle East and North Africa Region, Adam Jones Director General, Middle East and North Africa, Mastercard, Yahya Aboul Fattouh, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Egypt, Dalia Albaz, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Egypt, and Karim Seuss Bank of Egypt, as well as other leaders from Mastercard and the National Bank of Egypt.
