Orascom Construction Egypt's net profit declined marginally by 3.5% during the third quarter of this year to reach USD 29.7 mn, compared to USD 30.8 mn for the same quarter last year.
The decline in quarterly profits before deduction of minority interests continued a decrease in annual profits, specifically at the level of the first nine months of this year, to record $ 70.2 million, compared to $ 84.2 million profits for the same period of 2021. In contrast, revenue rose to $1.1 billion in the three months ended last September, compared to $857.7 million for the same period in 2021.
The company's projects under implementation amounted to $ 5.7 billion, and after adding a 50% stake in the BESIX Group, it will be worth $ 8.4 billion.
