Marex has announced the promotion of Emma Stileman to UK Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) (Designate) and Executive Director, marking a significant leadership appointment within the firm’s UK compliance and governance framework.
In her new role, Stileman will be responsible for overseeing Marex’s UK anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime compliance programme, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. In addition to her MLRO responsibilities, Stileman will contribute to broader leadership initiatives, collaborating with teams across the business to embed a strong culture of integrity, accountability, and regulatory excellence. Her promotion also highlights Marex’s focus on developing internal talent and recognising leaders who demonstrate both technical expertise and strategic vision.
