New car registrations in France decreased by 0.3% in November compared to the same month last year, totaling 132,927 vehicles, according to data released Sunday by French car industry group PFA.
Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) experienced a steep decline in the French market, with sales dropping 57.83% to 1,591 vehicles in November.
The electric vehicle manufacturer’s performance in France has been weak throughout 2025, with Tesla sales falling 32.79% since the beginning of the year.
The broader French automotive market has also contracted, though less dramatically, shrinking by 4.92% during the same period.
