A sharp decline in Tesla sales in France in April to the lowest level in two years

Tesla's sales in France experienced a sharp decline in April, reaching their lowest levels in over two years, despite the American electric car maker launching the updated version of its "Model Y".

The company led by Elon Musk sold only 863 cars in France during April, representing a 59% decrease compared to the same month last year, according to data from the French automotive industry association "Plateforme Automobile".

This decline comes despite Tesla starting deliveries of the redesigned version of its SUV "Model Y" to its European customers in early March. This new model was expected to boost the company's sales in France, which is considered the second largest market for electric cars in the European Union.

This data highlights the pressures Tesla is currently facing, which are partly due to investor concerns and customer anger in both America and Europe, stemming from Elon Musk's focus on political involvement in the U.S. administration.
